Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in Women and Infants units including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Women's Care, and NICU. Utilize the nursing process to prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary team approaches. Support new hires through precepting and competency validation while adhering to AWHONN and AACN standards. Deliver NRP, BLS, and C-EFM certifications as required. Rotate between day and night shifts across Highlands Ranch, Longs Peak, and University of Colorado hospitals. Earn a float pool differential and night shift incentive.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- AWHONN and AACN practice standards and certifications including RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP and CCRN
