Job Summary
Manage the 24-hour assigned unit, assuring patient care meets the standard of care. Oversee a team of registered nurses with a BSN degree, requiring at least two years of clinical experience and one to two years of progressive management experience. Maintain current RN licensure in Nevada along with ACLS, NRP, and BCLS certifications. Demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of patients served on the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- BSN
- Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience
- One (1) to two (2) years progressive management experience
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current ACLS Certification
- Current NRP Certification
- Current BCLS Certification
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department
