Labor & Delivery Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Oversee nursing care delivery within the Labor & Delivery unit during night shift operations, serving as the primary on-shift resource for staffing, clinical support, and operational decision-making. Manage staffing assignments, scheduling adjustments, and workload distribution based on patient needs while monitoring patient flow including admissions, discharges, and intra-unit transfers. Support and participate in direct patient care, including labor support and surgical assistance as needed, and collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and leadership to ensure safe and effective care delivery. Evaluate care quality, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide mentorship to nursing staff. Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. This role functions in a blended Charge Nurse and Assistant Nurse Manager capacity within a 150+ bed accredited regional medical center in Dickson, Tennessee, focusing on maternal-child health and emergency services.
