Labor & Delivery Clinical Nurse

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards while promoting patient and family-centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum of care. Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including patient preferences and cultural values. This safety-sensitive position requires constant alertness.
