Labor Counsel (San Francisco)

Senior Labor Counsel sought for a top Am Law 100 firm to join its Employment and Labor practice in San Francisco or Santa Monica. Responsibilities include counseling and advising employers in employment matters, taking and defending depositions, managing written discovery, drafting and arguing motions, drafting complex class and collective certification opposition briefs, and preparing employment-related documents such as employment agreements, separation agreements, employee handbooks, and position statements. Ideal candidate will have six+ years of experience in defending both single-plaintiff and class/collective wage-hour actions, strong legal research and writing skills, excellent communication and client-management abilities, and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of responsibility.
