Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in Mercy Joplin's Birthing Center (15 suites; Level III NICU) with responsibilities including coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and evaluating the care provided by direct care givers. The role supports a night shift as a Labor and Delivery RN, contributing to outcomes in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care within a facility that emphasizes mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
