Job Summary
Operate, set up, optimize, and troubleshoot label manufacturing equipment while monitoring product quality and ensuring compliance with specifications. Prepare and apply adhesives, inks, releases, and other materials, then log production data accurately using computer systems. Perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and material handling, maintaining a clean workspace aligned with 6S standards. Collaborate with cross-functional departments and participate in safety training to identify hazards. Work the 6am to 2pm shift Monday through Friday earning between $22 and $24 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to navigate equipment at various heights
- Comfortable working in a standing position for extended periods
- High School diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in printing or manufacturing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with measuring tools like calipers, rulers, and gauges
- Familiarity with working around moving machinery and safety protocols
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software
- Two-year technical degree
