Job Summary
Regional Senior Artwork Controller responsible for managing end-to-end artwork development (brief → final release) for packaging and labeling components across regions. Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, compliant artwork, drive process improvements, and supervise Artwork Controllers. Act as liaison between PMO, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Packaging, Quality, and Supply Chain; oversee timelines, resources, and multiple concurrent labeling projects; validate briefs, manage reviews and approvals in internal systems, and ensure regulatory and corporate standards compliance. Leverage PLM and electronic artwork systems (e.g., Agile, GLAMS, Loftware, Veraciti, Veeva); expert-level Adobe Creative Suite proficiency; perform color management and pre-press tasks; implement CAPA and RCAs as needed; create training materials, onboard new hires, and provide escalation/support across SMEs, Artwork Process Leads, Vendors, and Hub Leads. Track milestones, risks, and KPIs; contribute to dashboards and analytics; participate in regional project meetings and provide updates; prepare quotes for regional jobs and ensure timely project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Packaging Technology, or related field
- 10+ years in labeling design, proofreading, coordination, regulatory, packaging, and project management within consumer health, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries
- Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements for product labeling and packaging
- Hands-on experience with PLM and electronic artwork systems (e.g., Agile, GLAMS, Loftware, Veraciti, Veeva)
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro)
- Familiarity with pre-press and print processes (CMYK, Pantone, dielines, bleed)
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience in continuous improvement
- PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
