Job Summary
Assist press operators on a multi-color flexographic printing line by helping with setup, repairs, and maintenance of press equipment to ensure quick make-readies, high-quality output, and smooth production flow. Responsibilities include reviewing job tickets, selecting materials, assisting in material changeovers, maintaining and cleaning press equipment and surrounding areas, moving stock as needed, assisting with preventative maintenance and basic equipment care, following SOPs, assembling print cylinders and gears, conducting line clearance, removing waste, and performing other duties as assigned. Must participate in required documentation and drug screening after conditional offer; perform duties safely and efficiently per company policies. Strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with opportunities for training and development.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to read and understand measurements using a ruler
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
