Job Summary
Execute full crash and sled test procedures, including vehicle preparation, sensor installation, and high-speed camera setup. Analyze impact data, evaluate structural deformation, and ensure compliance with international safety standards like FMVSS and Euro NCAP. Manage calibration of dummies, electro-mechanical systems, and laboratory facilities while maintaining ISO 17025 logs and equipment integrity. Optimize testing methodologies and prepare periodic reports for the Lab Manager. This role supports VinFast's mission to revolutionize the automotive industry through sustainable mobility solutions and cutting-edge vehicle safety innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical foundation
- Solid data analysis skills
- Deep understanding of vehicle safety testing procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field
- Strong technical skills
- Ability to operate various types of cameras—especially high-speed cameras—video recording systems, and specialized photography equipment
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of safety standards and equipment operation procedures within a laboratory environment
- Strict compliance with occupational safety and technical regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical departments
- Ability to present reports in a clear and logical manner
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in technical analysis software
- Possession of a Category B driver's license
