Lab Technologist II - Temp

Conduct technical and non-technical duties in the Stat clinical laboratory under supervision, prioritizing requests with very short turnaround times. Operate and maintain automated instruments, perform laboratory procedures alone or with minimal oversight, and assist in training students or supervising technicians during absences. Document corrective actions for system deviations, maintain quality control records, manage inventory, and handle computer operations including specimen accession, result entry, and report printing. Adhere to safety policies, confidentiality standards, and hospital protocols while preparing solutions, cleaning glassware, and taking patient blood samples. Perform related duties as assigned, including troubleshooting day-to-day problems and running special tests.
