Lab Technologist II - Per Dim

Conduct technical and non-technical duties in the laboratory for the proper efficient operation of the Stat clinical laboratory under general supervision. Maintain a neat work area, utilize supplies cost-effectively, and arrange priorities for requests requiring very short turnaround times. Operate and maintain automated instruments, perform laboratory procedures, and assist in training students or supervising technicians in the supervisor's absence. Document corrective actions for test system deviations, adhere to safety policies, and manage inventory of supplies and materials. Accession specimens, log test requests, enter manual results, and print reports using laboratory computer operations. Troubleshoot, research, and resolve day-to-day problems while maintaining patient confidentiality and demonstrating proficiency in special tests.
