Lab Technologist - Day shift weekends

Job Summary
Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system during cardiac catheterization, positioning and immobilizing patients on examining tables. Assist physicians with specialized procedures, including instilling enzymes or inserting balloons to remove plaque, while entering technical factors and activating fluoroscopes to guide catheters. Provide procedure explanations, monitor patient vitals on data analysis systems, and maintain accurate documentation adhering to program standards. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. This role is part of Adventist Health's cardiovascular lab team in Marysville, supporting a 221-bed hospital and physician clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
- Experience in Cath Lab or Special Procedures
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
