Job Summary
Operate eyewear laboratory activities: select, cut, edge, finish, surface, and fit lenses to frames; maintain lab equipment per SOP 9.01; clock jobs and manage inventory; ensure 7 Point Quality Check and ANSI tolerance standards; perform SKU exchanges; conduct regular machine maintenance; follow hazardous material handling and HIPAA requirements; may cross-train in retail; requires HS diploma/GED and at least 1 year of related experience plus Lab Certification requirements; English communication skills are required; role is onsite with potential teamwork and customer-facing interactions.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
- Lab Certification requirements (Lab Technicians, Journeymen and Lead Lab Technicians must complete Lab Certifications specific to the position)
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
