Job Summary
Select proper test methods and equipment by reviewing customer drawings and industry standards. Record technical, dimensional, mechanical, and performance data acquired through lab equipment use. Assist in evaluating data, creating technical documentation, and supporting quality initiatives including inspections and non-conformance investigations. Maintain and clean all lab equipment, schedule calibration and routine maintenance, and acquire necessary materials, chemicals, and testing hardware. Ensure all testing aligns with relevant standards such as ISO, DIN, ASTM, and BS.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (or working towards) in Engineering or related Industrial Systems discipline
- Internship or placement experience in manufacturing or engineering
- Basic understanding of technical drawings, Industry standards, DIN ISO, ASME, ASTM, etc.
- Familiarity with ASME B117 and ASTM E18

- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and quality awareness
- Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
- Awareness of fastener standards (DIN, ISO, ASME, ASTM, etc.)
- Exposure to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025
