Job Summary
Lab Technician at STgenetics responsible for operating and maintaining sorters and lab computers, performing daily production of sexed semen with emphasis on sterility and semen quality, calibration, sort setup and shutdown; sorter cleaning, sterilization and bacterial testing; applying sterile techniques; using software for data entry and reporting; maintaining safety and proper storage of materials; supporting training and mentoring newer team members, with potential progression to higher technical or leadership roles. Role includes a 20% shift differential for hours between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 2+ years’ related experience or equivalent education; proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access; ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends.
