Job Summary
Lab Technician at STgenetics responsible for operating and maintaining sorters and lab computers, supporting daily production of sexed semen with emphasis on sterility and semen quality, performing sorter startup/calibration/setup; sorter cleaning, sterilization, and bacterial testing; practicing sterile techniques; data entry and analysis using Excel/Access; adhering to universal safety precautions and handling hazardous materials; monitoring inventory and coordinating with vendors; opportunity for growth and advancement within a growing lab-focused organization.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years’ related experience or equivalent education
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work any shift; including evenings, nights and weekends
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access
