Job Summary
Part-time Lab Technician responsible for analytical testing, data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), calibration and maintenance of analytical equipment, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance in a fast-paced industrial laboratory. Responsibilities include processing samples from unit operations, releasing shipments based on lab results, participating in ISO laboratory requirements and audits, maintaining SPC charts and laboratory housekeeping, preparing reagents, and supporting DOT shipping requirements as applicable. Requires strong math and computer skills, effective communication, and the ability to complete on-the-job training within 4 months.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to complete all required on-the-job training within 4 months
