Job Summary
Lab Technician at Stanton Optical responsibilities include obtaining job orders from sales, maintaining a steady workflow to meet delivery times for Now Service/Special Order jobs, notifying on equipment malfunctions, providing maintenance and calibration to lab equipment, ensuring brand standards with basic housekeeping, and cross-training with retail and customer service to support fast-paced eyewear production and repairs. Requires at least 1 year of laboratory experience, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and a focus on accurate, timely production of customized eyeglass wear for patients.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience with established laboratory procedures/equipment operation
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to multitask and work in a team
- strong organizational skills
- attention to detail
- customer/patient care orientation
- experience with MS Word, Google Docs is a plus
- optical industry experience is a plus
