Lab Technician Manufacturing Plant

Job Summary
The Lab Technician will primarily manage internal testing procedures to establish compatibility for Tremco products in typical construction applications. Responsibilities include performing various ASTM testing methods, preparing test samples, documenting results, and maintaining a clean laboratory environment. The technician will also respond to customer requests, develop test schedules, and provide technical service support while working with minimal supervision. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED with 5 years of lab experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field with lab coursework, is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum HS Diploma or GED with 5 years’ experience in a laboratory environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, General Science or similar with 3-6 months of work or coursework in a laboratory environment
- Familiar with laboratory safety and general laboratory procedures
- Excellent problem solving & communication skills
- Self-motivated and dedicated to quality work
