Job Summary
Lab Technician at Liquid Environmental Solutions in Mobile, AL performing routine chemical and physical analyses of wastewater/industrial water, preparing solutions and reagents, maintaining laboratory inventory and equipment, ensuring compliance with city/state/federal regulations, assisting plant operators, generating test reports and invoices, and handling regulatory paperwork while providing customer service and upholding safety and QA/QC procedures. Shifts include AM and PM available. Responsibilities include receiving trucks and verifying manifests, maintaining glassware, data entry, and collaborating with the laboratory supervisor on projects.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience as a lab technician
- 3 hours of college chemistry (wastewater experience may be substituted)
- Willing and able to work outside and inside, despite weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of laboratory PPE and safety
- Basic computer skills (data entry, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
