Job Summary
Lab Technician responsible for validating hardware and lab configurations. Must demonstrate solid computer architecture knowledge, install and manage Linux and Windows environments, understand networking to connect test systems to the lab network, and work with IO technologies such as PCIe peripherals. For senior engineering technician roles, basic scripting is expected. Requires meticulous documentation of validation test results, methods, and system configurations. The role demands self-motivation, the ability to work independently, and clear English communication.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Linux server environments and Windows operating systems
- Solid computer architecture background
- Understanding of computer networking and ability to configure a network connection from system under test to lab network
- Working knowledge of IO technologies such as PCIe peripherals
- Basic scripting knowledge (only for senior engineering technician role)
- Detail-oriented with ability to maintain/test results and document configurations
- Strong written and spoken English communication
- Ability to work independently and take on new challenges
