Job Summary
Split and prepare plant and loadout samples for analysis using XRD, Camsizer, and flame photometry, then accurately log, analyze, and report results in an electronic format. Ensure correct function of all laboratory instruments through testing and maintenance while performing sample prep, drying, and size analysis as needed. Collaborate with lab members and plant operations on various projects and tasks. Work cooperatively in both outdoors and indoors environments while wearing required safety attire and personal protective equipment. Perform duties that involve frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, rotating day and night
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and push and/or pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs and/or ladders, and potentially work at heights
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as needed
- Must be able to engage in strenuous physical activity
- Must be able to perform frequent walking and standing
- Must be able to sit, talk or hear, make visual inspections, perceive color differences, make precise hand and finger movements, twist, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach or grasp
- Must pass a pre-placement physical
- Must pass a hair follicle drug test
