Job Summary
Conduct sample preparation and analysis using XRD, Camsizer, and flame photometry while properly splitting plant and loadout samples. Accurately log, analyze, and report test results in electronic formats and maintain correct instrument function through testing and maintenance. Collaborate with lab members and plant operations on various projects and tasks as assigned. Perform duties including drying, size analysis, and insol testing as needed. This role requires working 12-hour rotating day and night shifts with a pre-placement physical and drug test. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, intermediate computer skills, and the ability to perform physically intensive work involving frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, rotating day and night
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and push and/or pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs and/or ladders, and potentially work at heights
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as needed
- Must be able to engage in strenuous physical activity
- Must be able to perform frequent walking and standing
- Must be able to sit, talk or hear, make visual inspections, perceive color differences, make precise hand and finger movements, twist, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach or grasp
- Must pass a pre-placement physical
- Must pass a hair follicle drug test
