Job Summary
Manage blending, testing, and analysis of lubricant samples in CCTC or third-party labs to support formulation development and technical troubleshooting. Prioritize grease sample handling, thickener synthesis, and analytical testing using international standards while ensuring safe, compliant operations under Castrol HSSE guidelines. Operate lab equipment, maintain calibration logs, and process data into accurate reports for team feedback. This role focuses on MWF, oil, and grease areas within the Industrial lab.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry (or relevant scientific discipline)
- At least 2 years equivalent formal laboratory experience from industrial lubricants
- Strong HSSE mindset
- Previous experience of working in a laboratory environment
- Self-starters with the ability to work in an agile and independent manner
- Strong team player
- Proven track record of attention to detail
- Generation of accurate test data
- Good communication skill
- Effective English reading
- Effective English writing
- Pre-placement drug screening
- Medical review of physical fitness for the role
- Background checks
