Job Summary
Lab Technician for on-site, part-time role in Brenham, TX. Responsibilities include laboratory testing of soils, aggregate and asphalt; preparing daily reports; maintaining a clean work area; handling materials; operating vehicles safely; and ensuring PPE is worn. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs and work up to a 12-hour shift; strong verbal/written communication; on-site work with field/test procedures and documentation. On-site position with no visa sponsorship; part-time schedule of 20-30 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred - one or more of the following
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Certification
- ACI Concrete Strength Testing
- ACI Aggregate Testing
- SB 101 – Materials Properties
- SB 102 – Field Specialist
- SB 201 – Moisture-Density Specialist
- Experience/Skills: Verbal and written communication skills
- Physical strength to lift and move 70 lbs., stoop, bend and stand for up to 12 hours
- Be solutions minded and collaborative
- Be initiative taker
