Job Summary
Lab Technician to perform asphalt and aggregate testing in a NATA-accredited laboratory. Responsibilities include sampling and testing of asphalt, aggregates, and binders, conducting field compaction tests, reporting and calibrations, maintaining laboratory safety and housekeeping, and providing technical support to production departments. Role may involve some travel, night shifts and weekends, and requires proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Desirable qualifications include Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques and knowledge of Australian standards; trained personnel with attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. Based in Laverton/Dandenong South, Australia with an annual salary of AU$80,000–AU$90,000 plus superannuation depending on experience.
