Job Summary
Conduct daily laboratory operations within the CMC Analytical Services group by cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining glassware and equipment. Perform routine calibration, preventative maintenance, and reagent preparation while managing chemical inventory, including labeling, storage, and disposal. Assist with sample receipt, logging, labeling, storage, retrieval, and chain-of-custody documentation, maintaining accurate records in compliance with SOPs and cGMP requirements. Follow all safety procedures, policies, and guidelines while participating in required training activities. This role supports scientists, Sample Management, and Metrology teams in a fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including laboratory coats, gloves, and safety glasses
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving manual dexterity, including pipetting, lifting laboratory supplies, and handling laboratory equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, or another scientific discipline
- Previous laboratory experience through academic coursework, internships, or industry experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
