Job Summary
Maintain high standards of quality and productivity by handling special customer instructions, performing operational verifications on Fusion Splicers, and ensuring equipment functions as required before delivery. Conduct visual inspections, manage version control of firmware and software, and perform maintenance and functional testing of equipment and accessories. Execute calibrations in accordance with manufacturer business processes and procedures while accounting and processing administrative steps in MS Dynamics. Prepare all orders timely to ensure on-schedule delivery to a high-quality standard, making equipment available for rental and sale in compliance with safety requirements. This role supports Electro Rent's mission to optimize test equipment life cycles and utilization for global technology industry clients.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor in technical/ICT/electronics or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken
- Capability to work in a safe, organised, precise, and tidy manner
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and perform well under time constraints
- Capacity to take ownership of your tasks and demonstrate strong desires to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Prior experience in a technical laboratory setting, calibration and electronics or electric
