Job Summary
Lab Technician focusing on construction materials testing in a Raleigh, NC lab. Responsibilities include conducting and documenting tests on construction materials, ensuring QA/QC test results are complete and review-ready, maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, and supporting on-site observations/inspections. Training provided. Relevant experience with ACI/ASTM/FDOT standards and the ability to lift 35-100 pounds are important. Certifications such as ACI Level I/II and NCDOT are desirable. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ construction materials testing experience in a laboratory setting is preferred
- ACI Concrete Strength Testing
- ACI Aggregate Testing Level I and II
- NCDOT certifications are desired
- Ability to lift and/or move 35-100 pounds regularly
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
