Lab Technician - Chemistry

Perform routine and non-routine sample extraction and analysis of food and food ingredient samples for nutritional, proximate, and contaminant testing using laboratory techniques per Standard Operating Procedures. Identify, communicate, and document non-conformities related to daily activities while ensuring sample turnaround time goals and key performance indicators are met. Execute routine laboratory maintenance tasks including sample archiving, equipment monitoring, waste disposal, and cleaning. Maintain accurate traceability and documentation of all testing activities, assist with troubleshooting, corrective actions, and method validation, and provide training to other laboratory staff for methods within your area of responsibility. Adhere strictly to lab safety procedures and reporting standards. Monday through Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.
