Lab Technician

Conduct chemical and physical analysis of materials, including lead alloys, water, and raw materials using ICP, spectrometers, and tensile testing. Collect samples for testing per procedures, prepare daily samples for NMU, and establish standard chemical solutions. Perform routine equipment maintenance, ensure workspace safety, and analyze failure modes on test cells. Develop test methods, train staff, and write daily and monthly technical reports while interpreting results. Liaise with manufacturing, process, and product engineers to requalify products and meet SABS and customer standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
