Lab Technician

Lab Technician in Plumsteadville, PA responsible for the analysis and certification of specialty gases, performing analyses with analytical instrumentation, routine production testing and quality control analysis of gas mixtures and pure gases, reviewing production records, preparing gas analysis certification reports, and coordinating with production and management on delivery schedules, product complaints, and special product requests. Requires an associates degree in Chemistry or related field (or 1-3 years of relevant industrial experience), knowledge of analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, spectroscopy, and statistical methods, ability to read SDS, and strong teamwork. Must be able to operate and maintain laboratory instruments and handle related duties; second shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM; ability to read, interpret safety rules and procedures; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; and capacity to work in a safety- and quality-focused environment with a willingness to support health and ISO quality programs.
