Job Summary
Perform laboratory tests on milk, cheese, whey products, environmental samples, and ingredients to assure quality standards are met. Input analytical data into software, run reports, and create charts and graphs. Become certified by the State of Vermont to perform all testing associated with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance after training. Mentor other Lab Technicians and demonstrate strong time management and multi-tasking abilities. This role requires 10-hour shifts between 4a-5p, rotating weekends, and working scheduled holidays.
