Job Summary
Lab Technician for 1st shift focused on product certification and quality control. Responsible for testing products to conform to Product and Process specifications, online color adjustments, identifying and dispositioning nonconforming products, and maintaining QC documentation. Operates process equipment (injection molding, blown film, pellet melter, roll mills, fiber lines) and analytical instruments (color spectrophotometer such as Xrite/DataColor; Melt Indexer; Volatile/Moisture analyzer). Performs inspections per P&P specifications, adjusts color online/offline, and uses SPC/SQC tools as applicable. Requires thorough knowledge of QC procedures, raw materials, and finished products. Must have basic computer skills, strong English communication (Spanish a plus), and 2 years of lab/compounding experience. Education: High School Diploma. Location: Batavia, IL (on-site). Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
