Job Summary
Lead the daily activities of the department, shift, or area by supervising staff and modeling positive leadership behavior. Set the tone for the team while ensuring individual and project tasks are completed successfully to support departmental and organizational goals. Maintain oversight of all work tasks and responsibilities within the clinical laboratory setting. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Health Science, ASCP licensure, and at least one year of clinical experience. Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Health Science program or Medical Technology
- Qualified as an ASCP, AMT, NCA, or equivalent licensure
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a professional capacity in a clinical laboratory setting
- Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience
- Ability to handle multiple priorities at once
- Excellent communicator and listening skills
- Licensure as a Supervisor, under Chapter 483, Part IV, Florida Statute 61F-5.002 or able to qualify within one year
