Job Summary
Quality Technician will ensure products meet Harvest Hill's food safety and quality standards by monitoring the production process and performing sensory, weight, and analytical tests (including brix, pH, color, weight). The role evaluates finished products for ingredient content, color, fill, weights, seal integrity, and code date legibility; documents testing results; collects samples for outside lab analysis; communicates out-of-compliance situations to production/QA Supervisors; maintains lab equipment and performs calibrations; conducts environmental testing of air, water, and bacteria; and may perform overtime as required. Reports to the QA Supervisor and supports QA objectives in a 4pm–12am shift on site in Verona, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Minimum High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Experience: 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age in order to perform sensory analysis on alcohol
- C-shift (4pm - 12am)
