Job Summary
Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS I-III) performs laboratory testing, maintains equipment and SOPs, ensures validity and quality of test results, and documents remedial actions and quality assurance activities. Levels I–III progressively include mentoring, training, SOP writing, troubleshooting, and participation in special projects or committees. Requires up to BS/BA in clinical laboratory science or related field, or Associate’s in medical laboratory technology with relevant experience; ability to work with infectious materials, automate/manual platforms, and maintain confidentiality; strong verbal/written communication and analytical/problem-solving skills. Schedule Tue-Sat 12pm-8:30pm at Lenexa, KS with no visa sponsorship; equal opportunity employer offering full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- BS or BA in Clinical Laboratory Science
- Associate’s in Medical Laboratory Technician
- BS or BA in Biological, or Chemical Science with 1 year of clinical laboratory experience
- Willing to work with potentially infectious human blood and body fluids
- Ability to work with automated and manual platforms
- Must possess skills required for aseptic techniques
- Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs
