Job Summary
Cath Lab travel assignment for a Lab Tech/Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist). Role involves assisting physicians and cath lab personnel with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, operating imaging/monitoring equipment, ensuring on-call readiness with ~30-minute response, and working within a busy multimodality lab (EPIC, MACLAB, CARTO, GE imaging, Abbott EP, Pyxis). Requires ARRT Radiologic Technologist or equivalent certification and RCIS; WA licensure rules applied where applicable; ACLS/BLS; minimum 2 years’ cath lab experience; travel benefits including housing/license reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from CCI required
- WA Department of Health CVIS or RT acceptable as required by facility
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital-based Cath Lab or multimodality interventional lab
- Experience with EPIC charting system and common cath lab equipment such as GE imaging, MACLAB, CARTO, Abbott EP, and Pyxis
- Radiation badge required prior to start
- Ability to meet on-call response expectations. Typical response time is 30 minutes for call coverage
- Washington state requirements: must meet state licensure rules for Cath Lab Technologists when applicable
- Preferred: prior experience with structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman), complex PCI, Impella and IABP, peripheral vascular interventions, and electrophysiology cases
