Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS primary responsibility is to assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting physician as monitor tech and scrub tech in the cath lab, operating imaging equipment, interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs, assisting as a circulator, aiding in patient transport, stocking and preparing the cath lab, maintaining sterile technique, inventory control, and post-procedure safety. Roles also cover teaching/orientation of students/new staff, and ensuring procedures are conducted with proper technique and patient monitoring throughout. The position requires involvement with AHA ACLS, RCIS certification (or ARRT/TX RT(R) alternatives), and ongoing credentialing within 18 months of hire. Location specified at Aubrey, TX and Celina, TX, with standard on-site work hours and on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certification or ARRT and TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS
- Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
Desired Qualifications

- RCIS certification within eighteen (18) months of date of hire
- ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
