Job Summary
Measure frames with a tracing machine, sort and receive eyewear into colored trays, and process lenses through surfacing, polishing, and coating equipment. Mount and align finished lenses, apply tint colors, and inspect blanks for surface flaws using precision instruments. Invoice and package completed jobs for shipment, maintain production tools, and clear machine errors while adhering to documented standard operating procedures. Work daily toward meeting production expectations and report defects to supervisory personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow procedure and contribute as an individual and a team member
- Minimum six (6) months experience in same or similar position prior to skills assessment to determine proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Computer literate
- Attention to Detail
