Job Summary
Lead Lab Support Tech - Inpatient role at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. Responsible for preparing, logging, labeling specimens; registering patient information and ordering tests; coordinating staff training and continuing education; mentoring phlebotomy staff and lab processing techs; and supporting quality improvement initiatives. Requires leadership in coordinating shift coverage and providing mentoring, with hours 1:30pm–10pm and rotating weekends/holidays. Minimum HS diploma; 6 months clinical lab experience and 1 year phlebotomy experience; hourly pay range $20.69-$30.00 with full-time benefits. Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience
