Job Summary
The LST III provides laboratory support for reports, data and scheduling, performs specimen collection and processing, transports and refers specimens, assists technologists with tests, maintains HIPAA confidentiality, and upholds Mercy Service Standards while delivering excellent customer service in a non-exempt, part-time role at Mercy in Ardmore, OK.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: One year phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience
- Previous Mercy LST II designation or equivalent experience
- Satisfactorily complete facility competencies to be eligible for advancement
- Have no active disciplinary actions or active performance improvement plans
- Successfully complete the probationary period
- Preferred Qualifications: College level chemistry, Biology or other Science courses
- Experience: Phlebotomy preceptor experience
