Lab Support Technician II- Gross Room

Triage phone calls and specimens, assign identification numbers to samples with patient names and types, and review incoming consultation cases from outside facilities. Verify patient status, insurance coverage, and proper authorizations before services, while collecting and maintaining accurate patient data. Support the Gross Department by assisting clinics with result requests, correcting patient information, and fulfilling supply or requisition needs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
