Job Summary
Perform precision cleaning, inventory management, quality control, and sterilization of labware. Collect used materials from various labs to restock dedicated points of use. Manage gas, garment, and dry ice supplies while ensuring safe storage. Partner with clients to understand labware needs and provide timely support. Maintain accurate records of inventory and support activities following Best Practices, SOPs, and Work Instructions. Work independently at customer sites in a laboratory setting with fluctuating temperatures and loud noises. Lift 40 lbs regularly and use equipment like pushcarts and forklifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience with material handling
- Ability to lift 40 lbs without assistance
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Safety-first approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently at customer sites
- Ability to handle areas with chemical-based allergens like penicillin and tetracycline
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (lab coats, coveralls, facemasks, steel-toe shoes)
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to use equipment like pushcarts and forklifts
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend frequently
- Ability to work in varied temperature environments (hot/cold)
- Ability to work overtime
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening including background check and drug test
- Ability to satisfy customer-mandated screening, credentialing, or badging requirements
