Lab Supervisor - Core Lab

Laboratory Supervisor to oversee Core Lab operations at UT Knoxville Medical Center. Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring accurate tests and timely results, directly supervising, training, and mentoring laboratory personnel, monitoring daily workflow and staffing across shifts, identifying and resolving production errors, driving continuous process and service level improvements, maintaining Quality Control and Quality Assurance records, evaluating process improvements, coaching direct reports, performing bench work as needed to maintain proficiency, and ensuring compliance with state and Federal regulations (CLIA/CAP). The role also covers payroll/personnel file processing and related administrative duties, with opportunity for growth and involvement in quality and regulatory initiatives.
