Job Summary
Lab Supervisor for Core Lab at UT Knoxville Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Lead day-to-day Core Lab operations, ensure accurate test performance and timely reporting, supervise/train laboratory personnel, manage daily workflow and staffing across shifts, uphold Quality Control and Quality Assurance records, evaluate process improvements, ensure compliance with CLIA/CAP/state regulations, administer policies and procedures, manage payroll and personnel files, perform bench work as needed, and coordinate administrative duties. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/biological science or medical technology, 5+ years of clinical lab testing experience, and a Tennessee state supervisor’s license. Preferred ASCP or AMT certification and prior supervisory/leadership experience in a high-volume lab.”,
