Lab - Phlebotomist PRN Variable Shifts

Phlebotomist at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center draws blood from patients (venipuncture or fingersticks), identifies patients, labels and transports specimens to the lab, and may perform testing when needed. Responsibilities include preparing veins, selecting appropriate needles, ensuring proper specimen labeling and tracking, and providing diagnostic notes to physicians as required. Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment, sources supplies, and supports the lab with related duties. Required qualifications include a Diploma in Phlebotomy, certification with the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians and/or the National Phlebotomy Association, and BLS. Strong dexterity, attention to detail, and good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with familiarity with computer systems (MS Office, Outlook, Meditech).
