Job Summary
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection procedures including venipuncture, nasal, and oropharyngeal draws. Enter orders, conduct accessioning, centrifuging, and aliquoting, then generate reports and receive specimens. Utilize Lab and Hospital Information Systems for order entry, result look-up, and report generation. Answer phones and forward patient issues to appropriate areas while providing basic customer service. Requires phlebotomy certification and one year of experience. Schedule is 40 hours, 8:00am–4:30pm Monday through Friday.
