Job Summary

Plan and execute procurement of equipment, tools, and supplies to support laboratory operations and engineering product teams. Manage, organize, track, and dispose of parts, units, and equipment inventory for the Laboratory tool crib and warehouse storage locations. Finalize and validate logistical planning, performance, and documentation of shipping and receiving activities for laboratory and product engineering materials in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. Safely and effectively operate powered industrial vehicles including forklifts and overhead cranes to fulfill material handling responsibilities. Work safely and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures while collaborating with Lab and Engineering team members to ensure timely project completion.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Logistics, Inventory Management, Procurement and Purchasing (or a related field)
  • at least 3-years of relevant work experience
  • at least 5-years relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Forklift and other powered industrial vehicle certification
  • willingness to become certified for forklift and other powered industrial vehicle certification
  • EPA Type Universal Certification
  • willingness to become certified for EPA Type Universal Certification
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow current work instructions and applicable laboratory procedures and standards
  • Well organized with the ability to create and maintain records related to purchasing, shipping and receiving activities including domestic and international regulatory compliance
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • ability to operate power hand tools and powered industrial vehicles (e.g. forklift, motorized pallet handlers)
  • basic understanding of HVAC equipment, parts, and materials
  • Ability to help solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment
  • On-Site (5 days)
  • pass additional drug screening

Desired Qualifications

  • EPA Type Universal Certification or willingness to become certified is preferred
